Not a rebadged PA speaker, but a completely redesigned series of coaxial driver, the VELOCITY are intended for premium music reproduction applications. They utilize their low frequency cones as wave guides to provide a conical dispersion pattern creating a true point source. An essential part of the design was to ensure that the low frequency cones would work synergistically with the compression drivers. Excessive cone excursion was eliminated to prevent Doppler distortion, light mass rigid diaphragm’s and voice coil assemblies were chosen to provide a better balance with the higher sensitivity of the compression drivers in achieving the most complementary match possible.

These Classic full-range drivers are designed for high-value single driver applications. Optimized for simple bass reflex cabinet design, they work equally well for transmission line or rear loaded horn designs. Powered by a efficient ferrite magnet motors that ensure great performance and optimal T/S parameters.
25mm voice coil ensures light mass and adequate power handling - thermally and mechanically. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms for this series The optimized ECOne™ guarantees very wide bandwidth and low distortion. Distortion is further reduced by efficient venting and the inclusion of an aluminum phase plug, inductance is reduced with a copper shorting ring stabilizing the magnetic field in the air gap. The new classic full-range series are excellent candidates for compact bass reflex systems, medium size transmission lines or larger horn-type systems.

- Copper field-stabilizing ring inside magnet assembly for reduced high-level distortion
- Aluminum (black) phase plug cancels phase distortion off the cone and reduces thermal compression by elimination heat build up in the voice coil
- Vented voice coil former for reduced distortion and compression
- New vented chassis for lower air flow speed reducing audible distortion
- Ultra light black paper composite voice coil bobbin to reduce weight , heat build up and reduce mechanical losses resulting in better dynamic performance and low-level details
- Large motor system with 25mm voice coil diameter and large magnet assemblies for better control and efficiency
- Long linear stroke motor for reduced distortion at high levels
- Linear suspension with specially designed CONEX damper (spider) for long durability under extreme operating conditions
- ECOne diaphragm’s for better dampening and natural sounding signal transmission
- Foam rubber surrounds for better control of cone movement and edge dampening
- Curvilinear duo cone for reduction in upper mid frequency distortion and reduced beaming effect at higher frequencies.
- Round Cast Frames with both surface or flush mounting flanges and minimum reflective design.
