My name is Magic Mike Berger. I've been in mass media
productiom, sales, promotion and advertising since 1965. Many of the
people I deal with have a beginner level of computer knowledge. Some
don't even know how to cut and paste or how to promote a business. Many
know nothing about Internet or how to deal with viruses, trojans, or
spyware. Some don't even know how get on the Internet. No matter
what problem they have, I try to help them by phone, e-mail, or
personal visit.
I graduated in
Radio and TV Broadcasting Management and Production from Penn State
University in 1969. I interned
with KDKA TV Westinghouse Broadcasting at in Pittsburgh,
Upon graduating I was made promotion director of WBRE TV in
Wilkes-Barre when I was only 21 years old. I helped start and run FM
radio stations from 1974 to 1978, I was a producer of radio ads, top
evening FM disc-jockey, and sales manager of FM stations, In 1978 I
began to do magic professionally after 25 years as an amateur magician
I've
been working with computers since 1982. I demonstrated computers for
Commodore Inc at the 1982 Consumers Electronics Show in Las Vegas,
demonstrated the Apple Lisa in 1983 at the Computer Showcase in
Seattle,
demonstrated voice telephone systems for Microperipheral Corporation in
Las Vegas at the National Cable TV
Show in Las Vegas, and many other computer shows. I've been building
web pages since 1998. My magician site is about 900 pages.
I've been
a promotional consultant at national trade shows in Las Vegas, LA, New
York, San Diego, New Orleans, Nashville and Reno.

I'm on the right showing The Lone
Ranger (Clayton Moore) and a spectator a magic trick in Las Vegas at
The National Cable TV Trade Show. I have been featured in TV news
stories in cities throughout the West coast,
I have also magically mesmerized Buckminster Fuller, Ken Kesey,
Frank Herbert, Tom Robbins, The Firesign Theater The Grateful Dead,
Little Feat, The Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels, Arlo Guthrie,
Heart, Playmate of the Year Keri Kendall, Leon Redbone, Tom Waits, The
Robert Cray Band, Chuck Mangione, Freddy Hubbard, The Outlaws, Dr.
John, Captain Beefheart, Commander Cody, and the cast of Northern
Exposure.
I was hired to entertain the press at the world premiers of
"The Four Seasons," performing backstage for Alan Alda, and at "The
Stuntman", performing for Steve Railsback and Barbara Hershey. I was
fortunate to meet The Dalai
Lama of
Tibet eight times at teachings on mind given in Seattle,
Vancouver, Madison, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and San
Jose.
