Warner Hollywood Studios is the sister studio to Warner Bros. Studios Facilities in Burbank. Conveniently located in the heart of the production community, this facility offers the intimacy of an independent...with the resources of a major studio. Its "Old Hollywood" charm provides the perfect backdrop for the studio's friendly and casual atmosphere with complete production services and state-of-the-art facilities.
On the 11-acre studio lot, located on Santa Monica Boulevard just west of La Brea in West Hollywood, there are seven sound stages, the Goldwyn Sound Facility, an expendables store, grip and set lighting rentals, production offices and a host of studio services.

The current site of Warner Hollywood Studios was established in 1919 as the Pickford-Fairbanks Studios, home of Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. In 1922, D.W. Griffith and Charlie Chaplin joined the team and in 1928 it was renamed The United Artists Studio. It reigned as one of Hollywood's greatest sites which produced classic films from the silents to the modern era such as Robin Hood, The Thief of Baghdad and Taming of the Shrew. In 1950, the studio was acquired by Samuel Goldwyn where he produced many classic films, among them Guys and Dolls, Some Like It Hot, The Apartment, West Side Story, Wuthering Heights, and Best Picture Oscar Winner, The Best Years of Our Lives. Warner Bros. purchased the studio in 1980 renaming it Warner Hollywood Studios.

Warner Hollywood Studios has seven (7) Sound Stages that range in size from 8,000 sq. ft. to 28,000 sq. ft. including two (2) audience stages equipped with built-in star dressing rooms, control booths, bleachers and central air conditioning.
Our stages are available for full length features, television series, commercials or a one day still shoot.
The world-class stages of Warner Hollywood's Goldwyn Sound Facility are known throughout the industry for their technical excellence and outstanding personnel. The work completed in this facility has garnered numerous Academy Award nominations and several Oscars. In addition to the Re-recording, Scoring, ADR stages and Foley stages, we are heavily involved in the Sound Preservation and Archival of old and new titles and are very proud to be leading the new DVD Audio Mastering technology.
When it comes to leasing production office space, editorial rooms, art departments, etc., our friendly staff is on-hand to assist you in creating your complete home away from home. With Warner Hollywood Studios being centrally located between the Westside and the San Fernando Valley, your entire production office can be set up on the lot right in the middle of Hollywood's production community predominated with production-related services.
Office space is available for short or long-term lease. Choose between single offices or suites with connecting rooms. Build-out your own office interior or use our stock furnishings. Additional space can be designated for editorial rooms, casting, wardrobe, art department and even storage.
Editorial Rooms - Our editorial rooms accommodate both linear and non-linear equipment. As an extra added benefit, choose an editorial suite with built-in kitchen and restroom or select a room with a view and natural lighting. Furnishings and equipment such as office furniture, editing benches, tables and other accessories are supplied by Studio Services, or feel free to bring in your own non-linear work stations.
Special Events The Commissary and adjacent park is available for after-hour events such as receptions, premieres, parties and meetings. Easily accommodating up to 400+ guests, we can provide complete event planning, including specialty catering, entertainment, valet parking and decor. With the use of our on-the-lot screening rooms, this location is ideal for premieres. Also, you have the option of using the Commissary's catering services or bringing in your own favorite caterer. Centrally located between the Valley and the Westside, the Warner Hollywood Commissary is quickly becoming the location of choice for events and parties.

Providing support to productions on and off the lot in the planning and execution of their production needs, Warner Hollywood Studios offers estimating, bidding and coordination of complete Grip and Set Lighting packages and special effect lighting.
