Is the Wizards of the Coast RPG scenario of Kyle Katarn getting kidnapped by a Vong Sith after the end of NJO still canon? And if so, when is it set, between TUF and Dark Nest, between Dark Nest and LOTF, after LOTF?

Does the Banking Clan Transport really make an appearance in AOTC?
The InterGalactic Banking Clan ship does not appear in AOTC.

Are the stories within stories, such as The Most Dangerous Foe considered to be "true"?
They're as true as any story in the real world.

And did OOM-9 have a 100% success rate of victories during the Invasion of Naboo?
I don't know of any OOM-9 failures prior to Anakin destroying the droid control ship.

Is Black Sun agent Dal Perhi from Shadow Hunter, and Black Sun leader Perhi from Evasive Action, the same person?
That was the author's intent.

is it possible that Old Wounds is in fact canon?
Still no intention to make this story canon.

The ROTS script had Qui-Gon explain how the secret of immortality was discovered by a Shaman of the Whills. Although the scene was never made, is his explanation about the source of his knowledge still valid? ie are all post-ROTS EU sources written from the point of view that what Qui-Gon says is canonical, even though it was never in the film?
Yes, it is still valid.

Couldn't you just make him Libkath again, Leland?
No I couldn't.

I'm wondering about the mystery Separatist on Utapau ... I know he hasn't been identified yet, but I'm wondering if you have access to any set photos or other reference material that could at least clear up the matter of his species.
I've got nothin'.

how old is Darth Bane by BotS,
I don't think I have a definitive age.

For starters, how canon would something in the novelization be, even if contradicted by the films (IE: Mace says Palpatine was too strong for him in the Force, when no line is in the movie)?
As a line of dialogue in the novel but not in the film in a single scene, then it wouldn't be continuity. Authors are given more leeway with dialogue than you'd expect. If it's just narrative, or someone's thoughts, or could fit in a scene between scenes, then it could certainly be valid.

And secondly, how closely does Lucas work with novelization authors such as Brooks, Salvatore and stover? Very closely or just loosely?
George had discussions with each of the authors and approved the manuscripts.

outside of the 2006 April Fools Joke, has Lucas Licensing ever actually considered canonizing the Shadow War novels and the film Willow?
We're always throwing wild ideas around, so yes, the issue has come up in the past. I can't imagine it coming up again, though.

Has the Trade Federation troop carrier ever been known in canon as a "Platoon Attack Craft"?
I've never called it that.

Is the Wizards of the Coast RPG scenario of Kyle Katarn getting kidnapped by a Vong Sith after the end of NJO still canon?
I don't have any source that disputes this. No further details on the timing, though.

Hi Tasty!

2 short questions:
1. Is the Ewok village we see in "Marooned" (Tales 22) supposed to be Bright Tree Village and are the featured Ewoks the ones we know from RotJ? The leading Ewok looks exactly like Logray and I believe Paploo was there, too.

2. Is "Star Wars: Demoiliton" canon? Especially concerning the appearances of Aurra Sing and Darth Maul.
Aurra Sing was imprisoned on Oovo IV during the Clone Wars. "Tempest" states that Sing spent her time there until the YV-War. Was she released or did she escape after the CWs and was later once more imprisoned?
And what's the deal with Darth Maul? Was he "resurrected" AGAIN after Vader killed the clone/imposter/what-ever on Kalakar VI?

Regarding Darth Bane's age by Bane of the Sith:

There are time references in the novel to the Battle of Ruusan (1,000 BBY), the start of the "new" offensive in 1,001 BBY, the First Battle of Ruusan (a year earlier, so 1,002 BBY), the year that passed between Dessel/Bane joining the Sith army (1,003 BBY) and the first BoR, the timing of the death of his father (1,008 BBY), and the fact that he was 13 at the time of his dad's death.

I would have to look back through it for the exact references, but I kept track of all of these as I was reading it so that I could include those dates on the SWT-G. All of that, though, eventually gives us a birth year of Bane as 1,026 BBY, which would make him about 26 in Bane of the Sith, since that's right after he escapes Ruusan aboard the Valcyn.

Figured that might help.

Cool, thanks, I thought as much. So anyways, at another forum I frequent, we were discussing who had more force potential out of Darth Sidious and Darth Bane, and I tried comparing RotS Sidious with BotS Darth Bane. Well given that Darth Bane had received less than 3 years of training, was only 26 at the time and had only just started to delve into true sith teachings, whereas Darth Sidious was far older and had far more experience with the dark side of the force by RotS, considering this incarnation of Bane is arguably more powerful than the RotS incarnation of Sidious, wouldn't you think it was logical to assume that Bane may have more potential? I'd really appreciate some insight, a statement from an LFL authority would most likely settle the discussion.

Also, would you say it's safe to say that Darth Zannah might have the highest potential ever (excluding the Chosen One), given these points - http://www.killermovies.com/forums/434384_1-darth-zannah-vs-de-sidious-read-first-post .

And 1 more question, we were arguing at the same forum whether Bane canonically pulled a moon out of orbit like he planned to at the end of BotS, and I was wondering whether this was a valid argument.

[quote]My argument: Bane pulled the moon out of orbit.

Premise 1: Bane planned to do so, and fly on top of a beast from Dxun to Onderon.

Premise 2: It's later confirmed in tNEGtC that Bane did fly on top of a beast in between their atmospheres and that he did meet up with Zannah.

Premise 3: The two atmospheres had slowly been moving away from each other for thousands of years, by this point they were too far apart for Bane to travel across, so the only way Bane could have travelled across them would be if the atmospheres somehow were close enough together, and the only way Bane could have ensured this is by pulling the atmospheres close enough together with the force.

This is an entirely subjective question and hence unanswerable.

Is the Liquidator that features heavily in Star Wars Missions the same Star Destroyer mentioned in Hero's Trial?

Darth Feroci - Try Google image search to see if it throws anything better up for you.

The only other thing would be to check things like the visual dictionary and Essential Guides for pictures of them.

Darth NTM, if you don't have a real answer to some of these questions, then perhaps you shouldn't be answering them... if you know what I mean.
