Tasty, Path of Destruction mentioned "Hammerhead-class capital ships, now, while it seems that Drew intended these to be the same as the ships seen in the KOTOR games (the ones shaped as the name suggests), it's not specifically said they are.

So my question: Do you/the Holocron consider the KOTOR ships to be the Hammerhead-class?

Cousin Nial/ aunt Cootie...
I don't have these in the Holocron. Anyone have page numbers from Children of the Jedi?

Is the system that the Star Destroyers are in at the end of ROTS the Horuz system, over Despayre?
Hasn't been determined whether the Death Star is in a system at all since we don't see any planets in the shot. We definitely considered it being at Despayre when early concept art showed a planet.

Yes, though the version in the game and the version in the novel might have different specs since there's a 3000 year gap in between the stories. We definitely intended for the look to be the same.

What's the deal with the Battle of Wayland in Empire at War? How does that fit into the chronology, since in The Last Command, no one knows where or what Wayland is?

Cousin Nial is in chapter 8, page 101 in my copy (1995 UK hardback); aunt Cootie is chapter 19, page 255. I suppose she could be the product of meaningless dream-logic...

Hope that's some help!

Tasty,

In ROTJ, there is a white-haired Ewok wearing a red hood that appears dancing with Wicket during the final scene. Can we assume that this is Wicket's sweetheart Kneesaa from the Ewoks animated series?

Expanation hasn't been determined.

Fantastic! Thanks, Policrat'. Though I wasn't able to confirm Cootie with the UK edition; in the US versions it's Aunt Coolie. Could Coolie be a nickname for Dama? Or maybe she's not a real aunt. Pillow-talk maybe?

I'm unfamiliar with the Ewok you describe, though I wouldn't assume it to be Kneesaa. Possible, maybe, but I wouldn't assume.

No, that's just a gaffe on my part: it's Coolie in my copy too... :p

I think my unconscious was more comfortable with suggestions of cooties than coolies...?

Dama, an honorary aunt, and pillow-talk seem the most plausible options to me, too...

Alternatively, I guess, it could be Aunt Sola, if she could have had some contact with Luke without him knowing who she was...

A very odd question: did Palpatine know where Anakin Skywalker came from?

Are the 'Aurek fighters' from Path of Destruction the same as the 'A-wing' fighters seen in the KOTOR games/comics?

That was the intent, with the same caveat mentioned in my above Hammerhead-class post.

Even I can answer that - no...I think.

Simon the Killer Ewok is about as canon as the hyperkinetic rabbity thing, Max.

I've always (well, since AOTC) reckoned that Coolie was just another of Beru's sisters. I must admit I haven't yet read Tatooine Ghost, but does it say Dama was Beru's only sibling?

If not, then I don't see the need for elaborate rationalizations--far less for positing whacked-out McEwokian theories ;) involving anyone from the Naberrie side. Just make her a third Whitesun daughter and be done.

If it does, then I suppose "Coolie = Dama's nickname" would be the most efficacious fix.

Tasty: so Simon is as canon as the "demented, pint-sized lagomorph" who appears here, right? :D

(For the confused, it's the sixth paragraph after the Kyle Katarn, Jedi Knight header; backed up by double A-side sleeve-notes here and here and a Wookieepedia page called Max (rabbit)...)

Val: hey!! You should have seen what I cut out of that post (and the final version is still a mess of edit, re-edit and run-out of time - serves me right)...

;)

... but yeah, I agree with you, for whatever it's worth... :p

Do not question Simon's canon, or he will show you his cannon. :p
