One more POD ship question (I swear this is it!): are the "Dreadnaught cruisers" mentioned in it the same as the Rendili Dreadaught cruisers used in the 'modern' era?

And when did Armand Isard die in? Was it before or after the Battle of Yavin?

OK, the Galactic Battlegrounds manual says that OOM-9 started off as a standard Battle Droid, but then was promoted. Can we consider that to be true, and that he was retrofitted on promotion?

Hey Tasty Taste,

In one episode of the Droids animated series, they show a scene of a hanger bay, with an A-wing and B-wing. Later in that episode (I forget exactly which one), a squadron of A-wings is shown.

In my New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels it says the A-wing wasn't developed until after the Battle of Yavin. Since the Droids series is supposed to take place in "the early days of the Empire", how can A-wings be present?

I looked it up on Wookiepedia, and it says the "A-wings" in that episode are actually a preceding fighter called an R-22 Spearhead.

That still doesn't explain the presence of the B-wing, though.

That I do not know.

Sounds like it could be true to me.

Droids animated series B-wing
Likely, it's some sort of predecessor like the H-60 Tempest bomber.

The dark siders that General Grievous faces on Dica in the original Japanese manga comics are twins named Ka and Li. They survive the confrontation. The continuity of the manga comics is a bit fuzzy. I haven't heard of any plans for English version of these comics, so the Ka and Li names might not be the final names in English.

Are the Imperial Military Code mentioned in Children of the Jedi, and the Imperial Penal Code mentioned in The Star Wars Holiday Special the same thing?

Probably no more than the Uniform Code of Military Justice is the same thing as the US Code on federal crimes.

Correction on the original manga comic. An English version will be available in the UK. I haven't seen it yet, so no word on the final names.

I just bought The new essential guide to alien species, and it states that the Iktotchi have clarevoyance abilities. Whereas in every other source material it states that the species is in fact telepathic. I was wondering if this was forgotten when TNEGTAS was written or do they have both abilities? By the way the book was well done in case any one was wondering.

Speaking of the New Essential Guide to Aliens:

Since it states that the "blueness" of a Chiss's skin is determined by how much oxygen is in the air he or she is breathing at any given time, does that answer the question of "If you choke a Chiss, what colour will he turn?" i.e. he'll turn a lighter shade of blue?

The info regarding Iktotchi having precognitive abilities dates back to the Alien Anthology RPG (2001). It is not new to the Essential Guide. We know that Saesee Tiin and Vigo Narees (Darth Maul comic) have natural telepathic abilities, so this still holds true for the species as well.

Have any of the background Neimoidians on Naboo in The Phantom Menace been named?

Is one Gode Takrab from Secrets of Naboo?
