Signing Thales-Alenia contract
Major Galileo contracts signed
 
27 January 2010   Yesterday, Mr René Oosterlinck, ESA’s Director of the Galileo Programme and Navigation-related Activities, signed the first three contracts for the Galileo full operational capability phase. This event marks the start of building the Galileo operational infrastructure.

First International Security Symposium
 
26 January 2010   On 9 and 10 February, ESA will hold its First International Security Symposium, to share information on security approaches, challenges and evolution that international organisations face in the current geopolitical situation.

Slovenia becomes sixth ESA European Cooperating State
 
25 January 2010   Slovenia becomes the sixth European country to sign the European Cooperating State Agreement with ESA.
