Arielle chose her current specialization in Environmental Biology because it's a new, growing field. She's also thinking about continuing on to medical or grad school. Outside of the classroom, you'll find her volunteering in the community -- using her musical talents in support of Smiling Over Sickness, a student-run club dedicated to helping sick children smile.

When she's not publishing papers or giving presentations on the impact of global warming on tourism, you might find Jackie Dawson bumping over northern Manitoba's vast ice fields on a tundra buggy searching for polar bears.
