+ Hi folks. Yes, we're still here. We've had some server issues this past month (ie lack of money) but we struggled though it thanks to a generous supporter. We won't be disappearing into oblivion just because the show is over. Hopefully we'll be revamping the site soon. Again, I have to mention that at the moment its just me who is working on the site. So if anyone would like to join our team, please send your emails to us at lwordonline@gmail.com. We're also looking for anyone who is a genius at Wordpress, or just knows how to use it LOL. So if your a writer, editor, designer, web-user or just wanna help out any way you can, again shoot us an email.
+ As some of you may have already heard, The L Word Down Under Convention has sadly been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales. People who had already bought tickets will be refunded their money.
+ Jennifer Beals (Bette) is an awesome photographer. We've heard rumours for 6 years now that she had been taking behind the scenes pictures for her own collection. Well now we finally get a chance to see them (and own them) in her new book set for release this December. For more info about "The L Word Book", check out this site and register your interest. The proceeds from the book will be going to charity.

+ Have some news regarding the L Word conventions coming up in the near future. United L Events who are putting on the Australian convention in January 2010, have just announced that Leisha Hailey (Alice) & Rose Rollins (Tasha) will be joining the other 3 actors already confirmed (Marlee, Laurel & Rachel). And Starfury who put on the UK conventions have just announced L7, which will take place April 2010 in Birmingham. More info on both these events can be found on our events page.
+ Mia Kirshner will be holding a fundraising event for her "I Live Here" charity August 22. All proceeds will go towards the launch of the Malawi Prison Project. More info about it here.

+ Fans of Rosanna Arquette (Cherie) will have a chance to meet her this coming weekend (18-19) at the Hollywood Show at the Burbank Airport Marriott in Burbank, CA. This will be her first ever convention appearance. She has also recently made her music video directorial dubut with Postman, a hip-hop artist from the Netherlands, shooting the music video at the Cannes Film Festival. Watch it here.
