Phil Ranstrom, writer, producer, and director will visit Krakow and show two of his blues documentaries at Kino pod Baranami, Rynek Gł. 27 (http://www.kinopodbaranami.pl/). on Tuesday, November 25 at 19:15. The two films: “Electrified: The Story of the Maxwell Street Urban Blues” (www.ElectrifiedTheMovie.com) and “Cheat You Fair: The Story of Maxwell Street” (www.CheatYouFairTheMovie.com) are narrated by the acclaimed American actor and former Chicagoan, Joe Mantegna, and take a look at Chicago blues and its impact on modern music. Phil Ranstrom is visiting Europe to participate in jazz festivals in several European countries and to film scenes for his upcoming movie on the blues scene in these countries.
