Built on the familiar BANKER II(TM), the new product design features an open system architecture, a user-friendly Windows graphical interface and a relational database system all intended to make information management and retrieval easier than ever before.

The popular Windows environment provides a visual quantum leap from graphical offerings in previous information management systems. "BANKER for Windows gives the user creative control and design flexibility," said Maxwell. "It leaves report design, custom icons and screen layout to the discretion of the user."

Though available in other BancTec products as an optional feature, the functions of BancTec's ENABLE(TM) product have been incorporated into BANKER for Windows. These functions create a relational database management system that makes information easy to retrieve and manipulate allowing users to create "ad hoc" reports, customer profiles, profitability analyses, and much more. "With information literally a mouse click or two away, managers can make more timely and informed decisions and be more responsive to bank customers," said Maxwell.
