• Internet Help Desk A free service for beginning and intermediate Internet users that offers frequently asked question (FAQ) lists, tools and advice.
• WWW Virtual Library -- Computing A free service that lists information available on the 'net relating to PCs, Macintoshes and Unix computers. • Help Desk Institute (HDI) Concerned with technologies, tools and trends of the help desk and customer-support industry, this site provides a newsletter, journal, resources, conferences and discussion groups.
• "Help Desk News" The HDI's publication about happenings in the help desk industry, including service offerings and programs, tools and technologies, salary surveys, buyer's guides and training programs.
