Cheam


Located on North Shore of Cheam Lake, near Chilliwack. Located on 502 hectares; 2 reserves.

The word "Cheam" is derived from the Halkomelem word meaning "Wild Strawberry Place" or the "[place to] always get strawberries." The band is part of the Coast Salish linguistic group.
