Tsawwassen


Located on coast overlooking Strait of Georgia near Tsawwassen ferry terminal, 750 acres, 80 percent of which is CP-owned, and 450 acres which is arable and is leased to non-Indian farmers.

Tsawwassen is a Halkomelem word which means "beach at the mouth" or "facing the sea". The band is part of the Salishan linguistic group.
