Yale


Located on Fraser River at Yale on 225.3 hectares; 16 reserves. The band's reserves were established on June 13, 1879.

The Yale First Nation has a population of 128 members. The traditional territory of the Yale runs roughly west from the Fraser Canyon to the west side of Harrison Lake and from Spuzzum south past Strawberry Island.

The band was formerly joined with the Union Bar Band. The Yale First Nation Band is part of the Salishan linguistic group.
