Introduction

Thank you for being a part of the Teamplay.Net community! We hope you enjoy the resources of our site, and we invite you to participate in making Teamplay.Net the place for team-based Internet gaming.

You should carefully read the following Terms and Conditions before using Teamplay.Net. When using the Teamplay.Net web site, you are legally obligated to follow these Terms and Conditions, none of which should be particularly unexpected. The following represents the sole agreement between you and TeamSphere Interactive Inc., which owns and operates Teamplay.Net. Teamplay.Net holds no basic restrictions to membership. However, if you are under 18 years of age, you must have the permission of your parent or legal guardian, who, along with you, is required to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

Teamplay.Net reserves the right to investigate any complaints made, regarding the posting of any material that Teamplay.Net deems inappropriate and may, at its sole discretion, take any action as described under the heading, "Violations of Terms and Conditions."

Teamplay.Net has the right to remove any postings or to require that any posting be moved to a different forum or different area of the web site.

You may not attempt to disrupt the usage of any of the public communication areas on the Teamplay.Net web site. Disruption is defined as any activity or posting that hinders normal usage of that feature.

You may not post advertisements of any kind on the Teamplay.Net web site, except where and if expressly permitted by an authorized representative of Teamplay.Net. Also, you may not post such materials as chain letters, pyramid schemes, encoded binary files, job offers or listings, and personal ads without the express, written permission of an authorized Teamplay.Net representative.

Contests and Events

All Teamplay.Net hosted or sponsored events and contests will be bound by original contest rules, which will be posted within the Teamplay.Net site. All participants of any Teamplay.Net affiliated event or contest are bound, not only by original contest rules, but by these Terms and Conditions as well.

Violations of Game Play

Cheating, or violating accepted rules of game play in any form, as defined by Teamplay.Net, is strictly prohibited. If Teamplay.Net suspects or determines that you have cheated, Teamplay.Net may take any or all the actions described in the section entitled "Violations of Terms and Conditions."

Teamplay.Net reserves the right to observe all online games that take place in any context that is affiliated with Teamplay.Net. Any dispute between Teamplay.Net members regarding any aspect of participation with Temaplay.Net or any Teamplay.Net event, will be resolved by Teamplay.Net, and its decision will be final and binding.

Violations of Terms and Conditions

Teamplay.Net reserves the right to investigate any suspected violations of these Terms and Conditions, which may include gathering information from any Teamplay.Net member or members involved, and the complaining party, if any. Teamplay.Net may also, at any time, examine any Teamplay.Net affiliated server, either owned by Teamplay.Net or independently owned, for the purposes of gathering information about a suspected violation, the prevention of such possible violation, or routine inspection for the purpose of detecting any such violation.

Teamplay.Net may suspend the membership of any members involved in any suspected violation. We reserve the right to remove any material involved in such a violation, such as software or game play statistics, from the servers. If, at any time, Teamplay.Net believes, at its sole discretion, that a violation of any of these Terms and Conditions has occurred, it may take responsive action, which may include, but not be limited to, the removal of material from the servers, forfeiture of any prizes or awards, warnings and suspension or termination of Teamplay.Net memberships, permanent banning from any future membership, and appropriate legal action. Teamplay.Net, at its sole discretion, will determine what action is appropriate to take in order to respond to any violation on a case-by-case basis.

Site Changes

Teamplay.Net reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, and any rules for Teamplay.Net contests, tournaments, ladder ranking systems and the like, at any time, at our sole discretion. Notice of changes to any aspect of these Terms and Conditions or rules related to any aspect of the Teamplay.Net web site, will be published on-line at a designated place on the Teamplay.Net web site.

Privacy Policy                  

Teamplay.Net promises not to distribute your name, e-mail address or other personal information to mailing lists, advertisers, or spammers. We use the information that you provide to help make our site more fun and better tailored to you. That said, if you don't want the world to know something, don't list it as part of your member information or post it on the site in any message board, mailing list, or on IRC. Teamplay.Net reserves the right to reproduce, disclose, transmit, or publish any information posted to our site.

Teamplay.Net may provide aggregate statistics about our members, sales, usage patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.

Teamplay.Net uses cookies to "recognize" members. "Cookies" are small pieces of information about you that are stored by your web browser on your computer's hard drive.
