Market

Sybergen™ serves corporate and home office environments that must operate without heavy reliance on local information system professional support, large enterprises with on-site IT staff and remote services providers.

Small businesses/satellite offices: Small businesses and satellite offices have the same secure Internet access needs as large enterprises, but do not have the necessary IT staff to select, deploy, and maintain complex routers, traffics shapers, and firewalls.

Mobile workforce: Most sales people, field support and executives access the Internet via a laptop while traveling. These laptops are the weak link in the corporate security framework; once these laptop systems are hacked, the data on the local hard drive plus the corporate network that they reconnect to is vulnerable to sabotage.

Telecommuters/Home Offices: According to International Data Corporation (IDC), more than 10 million people telecommute. Telecommuters and home users require secure Internet access while an increasing number also need access sharing across multiple computers.

Service bureaus: Most of the above users rely on outside service bureaus or enterprise help desk to support their Internet access, security and policy management needs. Sybergen Secure Desktop^™ is an ideal solution for mobile workers traveling outside the protection of their corporate network or home users leveraging "always on" DSL or cable modem connections.

Sybergen SyGate® for Home Office is Internet-sharing software that allows multiple computers to share a single Internet connection, modem and phone line. Sybergen SyGate® for Home Office is the market leader in the home/telecommuter market because of its ease-of-use, its support of Internet games and its integration with many home-networking solutions. 

Channels
Sybergen™ sells and co-markets its products with distributors, OEMs, strategic partners, national retail chains, and resellers. Distribution partners of Sybergen Networks' products include Acer, Tech Data, Ingram Micro, Best Buy, CompUSA, Navarre, and Fry's Electronics.  The company also has OEM relationships in place with Asante, Actiontec Electronics, Samsung, and Zoom Telephonics. Current strategic partners include Rockwell and Micro Information Centers. Sybergen also  sells to users directly online. With the help of over 900 registered resellers worldwide, Sybergen has reached 1,000,000 users in more than 30 countries.
