Novel Idea

253. They had started with Nintendo, graduated to Goroglamarama and Crash Scenes , but Gauntlet was their favorite. Klep`s controller was worried that he would short out when his Crasswork Drekheads disappeared, but he seemed ok for several days...Kai `s alternate on the vidcast however, refused to convert to oblivitude. He was imprinted with vengecircuits. It was not Wharps End that bugged his sentience, it was his attachment to Julie of Vidmarch. He began to appear as a lipsynched version of himself on the Casts, even after he and the other CLONEDROIDS melded and pickled together in Q`s collection.

------------------------

254. Fatboy was viewing the scene one evening when, a carmercial with drillpoint adhooks on the front bumper suddenly went all whacko . An Edsel with eyelashes and the voice of Keanu Reeves up and started talking Kai-speak. Startled, Chubs laughed and said `` Mai, is dat Kai ?`` Offended, the undercover agent from Intergalactic Emmigration Investigations, told him he needed to find somethin` better to do than watch the Crasscast. She handed him a tropical drink with a tiny umberella and three holosperes. ``This is the stuff on the reptilian. Start lookin in the Khalihari. She is not dangerous unless she meetsup with a rival lizard or cannot reach her planet by n waves. That earthquake last week? well, something pissed her off!``

------------------------

255. Which is when the barfng bash began. It was becoming all too unbareble to Julie, ``I can`t do it Warp, I can`t... `` she was trying so hard to be stronge, to make logic of the putrid scent that was wafting throughout the tiny Vermont Airport. Warp`s own stomach was turning insideout and he was afraid to speak for the fear of what might come up, so held Julie about her tiny, frgile and trembling shoulders, as much to support her, as to support himself. Unfortunally a small baby being held by a mother directly infront of them was not quite so strong. The smell of regergetated breast milk, combined with the vinegar-eclair-diet coke-milk puke already exsisting in the air was too much for eithe Julie or Warp. They both puked all over eachother. The sight of which sent Kai right over the edge.

------------------------

256. Kais trickplugs were acting up. Unable to control his mouth , he continued to show Teretz-like symptoms, blasting filthy thoughts and language wherever he went. The pitiful utterances of one in the throes of this disease are often so abhorent to his audience, that the law is called to remove him from public venues. Kai`s Eddie scenarios were definitely in this class. A tall, Public Safety officer whisked him away to the Loon Unit and he was never seen or heard from again.Programming from the early outposts had been breaking down lately among many of the population in Kai`s age range. The Ad Mech, Klep was blamed for the whole incident.

------------------------

257. Mai called a vidconference. What was happening was quite clear. Attempts to infiltrate the perpetrators of control had been difficult but successful. They had revealed a network of circuitry well imprinted in many of the humans on planet E. It was riddled with glitches however which gave the humanists some hope. Few were able to keep their offspring in disconnect. In adolesence, many who had been ad-free were now hypnotranced by new gadgetry where Hook-Bytes could do their deadly work. The social stigma of not being connected was hard on all who refused Drekhits.

------------------------

258. The Shadowstone Trilogists would be useful in the war for conciousnes. They were aware of the fact that something very insideous had been slowly taking over. They never watched the Drekcasts and created the legends of Shadow on their own. Many times Clonedroids had wanted in, posing as players, but their addictions soon showed. They could not live without violence, Crass or Snoid, and it was most often included between segments of autosynched sexual stim. The Shadowstone built psychnetic aural nets around their heads to keep such signals out of their minds. They did not live in Nonreal Time for more than a few hours every week.

------------------------

259. Klep had revealed his first Shadowstone creations. They had reason to believe that he might regret this original crime after he was blamed for the Eddie, Wharp, Julie spew. This time the controllers nearly cracked his code. He discovered he was not on his own, but the manipulated Ad Mech of a selling campaign which was the core of commerce on planet E. For some reason he found this distasteful. He contacted the Shadowstone Colony. `` Fatboy was not who you thought he was. You should meet with him. He and another from the GIP are tuned to ahother frequency. You are wasting time fighting him. `` Now that the three Clonedroids Kai, J, and W had been blown, the Shaddowstone could continue to build something else. They torched the teddy of the Twink.

------------------------

260. Things became soooo boring for Charlene that she hooked into the wuzalugs to reach the intergalactic frequency necessary to vaporize and rematerialize on the planet Euripidus. The clonedroids had sensospheres engineered for hooking up to the magical trickplugs which weren`t ideally shaped to hook into a wuzalug. On Euripidus, she could enjoy the companionship of other reptillians of a different species than those primarily inhabiting Planet E. Euripidus had been named for the god of the underworld....same one that had existed on Planet E. in ancient times.

------------------------

261. The ancient god of the underworld had managed to take with him to Euripidus most of what had erroneously been thought to be humans but were in spirit and now in body as well reptillians. Charlene and only a small percentage of reptillians from Euripidus enjoyed permission for occassional return visits to Planet E. Their primary task was to observe and report any instances of clones mutationing into humans or any of the few remaining humans not displaying personality characteristics more consistent with reptillians.

------------------------

262. ``Julie relax everything will be okay.`` he looked at Kai. and slapped him hard upside his head. ``Snap out of it.`` ``Look at what it is doing to us. we have got to try and relax.`` Kai took a look sip of brandy and felt the ease of his stomach go down. Warp made a joke. ``Julie if it makes you feel better I`ll find the wild boar and kill it for our meal.`` Julie laughed. ``I feel a little better. I think I`ll handle this now.`` She cuddled close to Warp. Kai eased back in his chair and fell asleep. ``Scottland here we come.`` he too fell asleep with Julie in his arms. before Julie went to sleep herself. she kissed Warp`s cheek. ``I love you.`` She fell asleep. our three hero`s are relaxed for now.
