To
setup an account for Sygate newsgroup using outlook express.
- Click
on "start", "program", "outlook express"
- Select
"tools", "accounts..."
- Select
"News", click "Add" and then select "News..."
- Enter
your name under "Display Name:"
- Enter
your email address under "E-mail Address:"
- Enter
207.33.111.124
under "News (NNTP) Server:"
- Click
finish to complete.
- Click
close to continue and you will be prompt to subscribe the
newsgroup you want to join.
- Select
newsgroup(s) name and click "Subscribe"
To post
a new message on the selected newsgroup.
- Select
"New Post" button, type your message and click "send" button
to post.
To reply
to a specific message on the newsgroup.
- Select
"Reply Group" button, type your message and click "Send"
button to post.
To check
for latest messages posted on this newsgroup.
- Click
on news.sygate.com on your left and check the box for "New
messages only" on your right
- Select
"Synchronize Account" to get the latest messages posted
on the newsgroup.
