Nolen-Wold
Drs. Les and Ann Nolen of Memphis, TN
announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Hallie Dameron Nolen,
to Mr. Christian John Wold, son of Dr. and Mrs. Howard G. Wold of
Alexandria, LA. The couple will exchange marriage vows on June 23,
2001 at Christ United Methodist Church with Reverend William R.
Bouknight officiating. A reception will follow at the University
Club of Memphis.
Miss Nolen graduated White Station
High School and Rhodes College, where she received a bachelor's
of arts degree in political science and was a member of Chi Omega
sorority.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs.
Billie Hale Hamilton and the late Mr. Isaac N. Hamilton of Chattanooga,
TN and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie C. Nolen, Sr .and the late Mrs. Willie
Mae Nolen of Memphis, TN.
Mr. Wold graduated from Bolton
High School and Rhodes College, where he received a bachelor of
science degree in biology and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
He is currently a medical student at Louisiana State University
in New Orleans.
He is grandson of the late Mrs.
Doris Edenstrom Aabye and the late Mr. John M. Aabye of Fargo, North
Dakota and Mrs. Patty Wold and the late Mr. Truman Christian Wold
of Alexandria, LA. After a honeymoon in the British Virgin Islands,
the couple will reside in New Orleans.
Giles
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Giles Jr. are pleased
to announce their first year anniversary. Larry and Anitra were
married June 3, 2000 at Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church.
Rev. Noah Alexander Jr. officiated the ceremony.
Anitra is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Willie Dickson Sr. She is a graduate of Baptist College
of Health Sciences where she earned a B.S. in nursing. She is currently
employed at The Regional Medical Center (Med) as a Registered Nurse.
Larry is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
August Givens and Mr. Larry Giles Sr. He is a graduate of Shelby
State Community College where he earned an Associates Degree of
allied health in radiology. He is also currently employed at The
Med as a Radiological Technologist.
Larry and Anitra enjoyed their
fun-filled exciting honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The couple's
motto is You can do all things through Christ who strengthens
you. They are currently residing in Cordova, TN.
Liles-Crump
Miss Holly Tabitha Liles and Mr. Patrick
Metcalf Crump were united in marriage on April 21, 2001 in a candlelit
ceremony at Idlewild Presbyterian Church. The reception followed
at the Memphis Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. James Roy Liles of Memphis. She is the granddaughter of
the late Dr. and Mrs. Auverne Jones Taylor of Greenfield, TN and
Mrs. Roy Clifton Liles and the late Mr. Liles of Mason, TN.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Michele
Robin Crump and Mr. Charles Metcalf Crump, Jr. Grandparents of the
groom are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Metcalf Crump, all of Memphis, and
Madame Yveline Aline Humbert and the late Monsieur Claude Philippe
Etienne Robin of Paris, France.
Mr. and Mrs. Crump will reside
in Memphis.
Raines-Buchmann
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Breeckner and Mr.
and Mrs. J.N. Raines of Memphis are pleased to announce the engagement
of their daughter, Lee Pierson Raines to Mr. Paul Gordon Buchmann,
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Gordon Buchmann of Denver, CO. The wedding
will take place on June 23, 2001 at the Church of the Ascension
(Episcopal) in Denver. The Reverend James H. Short will officiate.
The reception will follow at the University Club of Denver.
Miss Raines is a graduate of St. Mary's
Episcopal School and received a BS degree from Vanderbilt University,
where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She will receive
a Master of Science in Management with honors from the Daniels College
of Business at the University of Denver in June. She will be employed
by Accenture in Denver.
She is the granddaughter of the late
Mrs. Gene Pierson Brimson of Memphis and the late Mr. V.W. Lee of
Ripley, TN, and of Mr. James E. Raines and the late Mrs. Amelia
Childs Raines, both of Memphis.
Mr. Buchmann is a graduate of East High
School in Denver and received a BA degree in English Literature
from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO. He has also completed
the Teacher Education Program at the University of Denver. He will
teach American Literature at Chatfield High School in Littleton,
Colorado.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Austin O. Roche, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN and Dr. and Mrs. A.C.
Buchmann of Springfield, IL.
After a honeymoon in Vancouver and Victoria,
B.C., the couple will reside in Denver.
Ward-Perkins
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ward of Bartlett, TN,

Ward to Mr. Jeffrey Kennedy Perkins of Arlington, TN. They will

Perkins of Arlington, TN. He is the grandson of Mrs. Alice Wood
of Cordova, TN, and the late Wibur Wood, and of Mrs. Bonnie Perkins
of Arlington, TN, and the late Arch Perkins. He will graduate from
The University of Memphis in August, 2001, with a bachelor's degree
in marketing management.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the
couple will reside in Memphis.

Dr. and Mrs. Walter Thomas Colquitt
III of Shreveport, LA announce the marriage of their daughter, Claire
Newell Colquitt to William Preston Moss III, son of Mrs. William
Preston Moss, Jr. and the late Mr. Moss. The couple exchanged vows
on May 19, 2001, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Memphis, TN.

The bride is the granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Henry Newell of Memphis and Mrs. Walter Thomas
Colquitt, Jr. and the late Dr. Colquitt of Shreveport.
She graduated from the University
of Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in social work and completed
her Master's degree in social work at Louisiana State University
in Baton Rouge, LA.
