Sybergen Networks Announces Partnership with DAT Services To Enhance Unique Private Network

Fremont, CALIF. -May 22, 2000- Sybergen Networks, a leading provider of mobile workforce solutions, today announced a partnership with DAT Services that will utilize Sybergen technology to implement DAT Services’ unique transportation information services over DAT Partners, a private business network.

The DAT Partners Network delivers business-quality performance, reliability and security within the Public Internet environment.  DAT Partners, launched March 21, 2000 by DAT Services, connects carriers and transportation intermediaries to the largest freight-matching service in North America.  It provides a secure, real-time, continuous connection engineered to facilitate significantly faster freight-matching results and more quality contacts.

Sybergen’s SyGate® gateway software will provide Internet access sharing capability and allow DAT to deliver multiple-user versions of DAT Partners.  “We chose SyGate® because of its flexibility to integrate with our applications, its security tools and for SyGate’s® remote management capability,” said Sherri Giger, group product manager, Private Internet Offerings.
