About this Site

This Web site, as well as SF-Lovers Digest, and other services, is being run off a single machine owned by Saul Jaffe. It is connected to the net by the gracious kindness, and good will, of Rutgers University.

The machine's current configuration is:

CPU:
Pentium-90 (90/100MHz motherboard with PCI/ISA Bus, Super Multi-I/O & PCI IDE)
Memory:
64Meg memory plus 128Meg virtual memory
Disks:
Connor 1 Gigabyte IDE, Quantum Bigfoot 6.1 Gigabyte IDE
OS:
Linux (public domain Unix for PC's) 2.0.34
Available services:
anonymous FTP, WWW, LISTSERV mailing lists, more

If you have hardware that you're willing to donate, or software that you'd like tested or reviewed, or if you have any comments or suggestions, please contact us.

The site is maintained by Saul Jaffe with the occasional help of some friends, especially Sharon Sbarsky. It is done as a hobby, not as a business, and no one gets paid, or earns any money for this site. SF-Lovers is dedicated to SF fandom, and fannish activities. While we're more than happy to answer questions, or help you find resources you are looking for, we do not sell anything here, nor can we tell you where to purchase videos, tapes of television shows, or other items.
