Since there seems to be a lack of decent venues in Westwood, the suggestions seem to have turned to other areas.
 
We had our rehearsal dinner at C&O; in Venice on their heated patio. It ran about $23 a person which included garlic knots, salad, chicken, choice of two pastas, dessert, soft drinks, coffee and a few caraffes of their house red wine. It's a casual place, a fun atmosphere with good food served family style. The catering staff was very helpful.
 
If you are worried about transportation, you could consider chartering a double decker bus or something like that. With that option, you could really go anywhere you want. It might balance out if you pick a cheaper place to eat.
