When I used to work in Beverly Hills my favorite place to eat was the noodle shop at the Mandarin Restaurant, which is open only during the day.
 
The Mandarin is at 430 N. Camden. When you walk in, walk right past the hostess and straight back to the right and you will find a small room with a different menu than the (expensive) restaurant up front. They have a limited but very good selection of Chinese noodle dishes, all priced around $6.00 and all good. You can order and eat and be in and out in a half hour, easy. You can't beat it for a quick bite in BH.
