We find Palermo's sauce/crust combo tends to result in the dread soggy-middle-crust, though it is favored by many hounds in the hood. For true CALIFORNIA pizza toppings(i.e., arugula, goat cheese, etc.) but killer crust anyhow, go to Caioti, now in North Hollywood (or Studio City, or Toluca Lake or thereabouts...)
