Definitely follow Can's advice, as having lived in Diamond Bar for many years taught me that Rowland Heights is a true Mecca of Chinese cuisine and groceries. I recommend that you try any of the oft-mentioned eateries before you hit 99 Ranch; never shop hungry, or you'll drop a C-note or two in there. Great, incredibly diverse selection of items, and hard-to-find specialty butcher products are a plus.
