Subject:     Taix and Korean food in the SFV

On an earlier post C.T. mentioned Taix. I've never been there but I am curious. As I remember they offered a pre-fixe menu of a circa 1950's interpretation of french cuisine. I am willing to try it for the experience as long as the food has some merits. What's it like? Also, are there any note worthy Korean restaurants in the S.F. valley, or is it better to schlep over to Vermont/Western? I am making my annual Thanksgiving pilgrimage to LA to visit family so I am out of the loop. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Will travel and suffer (moderately) in traffic for good food.
