I guess I haven't been eating in the same restaurant as all these other hounds. I have eaten at Campanile many, many times and have had a less than satisfactory meal only once, about four years ago. I ADORE the food and have almost without exception found the service to be excellent and not at all snooty. On some occasions, I have ordered only an appetizer and a glass of wine and still been treated as graciously as if I ordered a full meal. The family style dinners on Monday are wonderful and a fair deal. I could rave on and on, but you get my point, I'm sure. Don't miss out.
