Yaohan is now Mitsuwa. Nothing about it has changed. A lot of good sushi fixins and expensive meat for shabu shabu, etc.
 
In terms of great produce (which I believe you mentioned), I think a lot of people would recommend that you check out the huge organic Santa Monica Farmers market on Saturday mornings. It's on 2nd and Arizona and it starts at 8am.
 
The following link points out other FM's around Los Angeles, but the one by the Promenade is the largest, I believe.
