Message: | As I continue to read about bad Indian restaurants on this board, I thought I'd post about a really good one, Surya, on 3rd Street, just east of Crescent Heights in L.A. on the south side of the street.
I've been going about the year or so its been open and have always had terrific meals there, the last one being the past Saturday.
The owner and chef are from London, arguably where the "best" Indian food is to be found, and as I lived in London for many years, can say this is the closest I've found in L.A.
They have all the usual things, tandoori et al, all excellent, as is the service and attitude. Prices moderate. |
