The Spaghetteria on Palm Canyon at Racquet Club is excellent Italian particularly pizza, thin crust to die for - run by a family, mom, pop and their daughers. Really good food, not expensive.
 
Don and Sweet Sues in Cathedral City, Ramon Road at Date Palm, great place for breakfast or lunch, very chatty waitresses, they start serving breakfast really early.
 
Lyons Grille, also on Palm Canyon has the best roast duck and a great pot roast, the duck is worth the trip, crispy and served with fresh green beans almondine and parsley potatoes - gosh haven't eaten this since November and I still remember it.
 
Also Korean and Puerta Vallarta Mexican in a strip mall at Ramon Road at Landau.
