You need to calm down and think about what you're saying. First you say, "Chicago Deep Dish pizza is great." Then you say, "Forget the deepdish" and that "any real REAL Chicago pizza lover should know that Chicago's thincrust, cut in squares, is the truly best pizza anywhere." So which is it? Is Chicago deep dish great, or should we forget it?
 
Inconsistency aside, I agree that, for pizza, the crust is the star of the show. But I've yet to have a Chicago deep dish, including all those you mention, that has a decent crust. You're free to disagree, of course. But that's been my experience.
