Corm tortillas are surprisingly easy to make, and incredibly delicious if you can get good fresh masa.
 
But frying them (oh how I love those!) doesn't make them as crisp as the storebought, because of the moisture content. Although I haven't yet tried drying them before filling with (horrors!) ground tofu, onions and Gruyere. Yum. . . .
