Agreed, don't miss Artesia. But if you're in the area of Fairfax and Pico, I prefer the small Indian snack shop on Pico (around the corner) between Fairfax and Crescent Heights, south side of the street. Don't miss the Bombay rice snack with lime juice and peanuts (their specialty). The pakoras are miles better than the place on Fairfax, and they have more of a variety.
