Well, here goes. Fine fine dining, I'm not really sure. But I went with a friend for a day, and we went to a little place (I'm so useless that I can't remember the name) but it was right on the crescent and I asked about the fresh swordfish. the waitress told me that THEY WERE UNLOADING the boat which had just come in so if I waited a good thirty minutes, I could have that day's catch. I waited, it was worth it. The fish couldn't have been more wonderful. For ideas, you can go to

and plug in Avalon for city. All sixty something places selling food on catalina come up.
