We had some relatively-late night dad's day grub at The Pig on La Brea. Not the best in town I'm sure, but excellent cat fish and turnip greens. The flavorful brisket sandwich is the thick stringy variety, which kind of throws me off from what I expect. Overall my father seemed to be more satisfied with my low-rent holiday suggestion than he was with the anniversary dinner he and my mother had shared at Campanile the previous evening.
