Message: | I second the Korean recommendation. If it is the same place I'm thinking of, they give you a bunch of the side dishes and will keep refilling. The Persian place (Caspian) is also good. Try the beef shish kebabs. For sushi, Maizuru on the corner of Alton and Jeffrey is good. On Jeffrey and Walnut, there is A&J; -- an authentic Chinese place. Try the beef noodle soup, spicy dumplings, and steamed vegie dumplings. There is an Islamic/Chinese place on Walnut between Jamboree and the 55. Not as good as some others in SoCal, but not bad. Rubio's is good (albeit a chain) and is located on Harvard and Main. |
