Message: | they place has gone a bit downhill since it moved to vermont (from franklin). wasn't impressed by the hash at the old location, but the mexican dishes (chicken quesadilla, chorizo breakfast quesadilla (special - as well as the lisa's special scramble) are pretty good. the salsa cruda is not that good, so if you like the hot stuff, bring your own condiments (which i occasionally do). the only thing i get at fred 62 is the thai cobb salad (better than the original version at vida on hillhurst) just don't order it after 8 p.m. for a good sandwich, try the hot pressed foccacia sandwiches at psycho babble. you have to endure the hipster duffus crowd, but it's a decent sandy for the area. i live on vermont, and the place has gone to pot food wise. pattaya thai is not bad, but i heard it's slipping. |
