I see one of our moderators wisely deleted the nasty postings this thread was starting to attract (as, of course, we all expected it would).
 
We chowhounds have such passionate opinions about food, yet we're remarkably tolerant toward dissenting opinions re: our favorite sushi and crepes suzettes. But when we discuss the "larger issues", it rarely goes well. Which is just fine, seeing as how this site is about FOOD. So let me use this as an opportunity to plea: let's stick to chow, ok?
 
Someone chimed in (sans response) in the middle of all this with a beautifully germaine tip for finding the same barbecue Jonas was driving to Crenshaw for on Centinela Ave. Has anyone been there? Is it as good as the Crenshaw branch?
