Never tried it, but The Hat's chili cheese fries are very good. I'm sure if they put the chili on a hot dog, couldn't be half bad.
 
Hat locations: Alhambra (original) on the corner of Valley and Garfield, and Monterey Park on the corner of Atlantic and Riggin.
