I have never been the Sherman Oaks branch, but the Petit Bistro in WeHo is one of my favorite places. Very good food at reasonable prices and quintessential French bistro decor. Their salads are excellent (especially the goat cheese), I could make a meal of the fries, and the lamb chops are always tasty and perfectly cooked. The service is friendly, efficient, and helpful.
 
My only complaint is that the tables are way, way too close together.
