These are all casual places, and ones that I haven't been to for a few years, so I apologize if they're not very good.

Nothing much comes to mind in the Riverside area, but
there's Alberto's. I used to come here so much, it's a chain all over So Cal, but I thought they were good. I'd suggest the "chips deluxe". Which is pretty much a plate of just fried tortilla chips with the contents of a carne asada burrito emptied on it. It contains beef, beans, guacamole, sour cream and cheese. Eat it fast or your chips will get soggy. It's located on the southern corner of Magnolia and Arlington.

If you're willing to make go down the 60 to Moreno Valley, there's quite a few places on Sunnymead Blvd.

The Rib Cage, the folks here are so nice, and the BBQ is very very tasty. Try the rib tips, it's the ends of the spareribs. Sunnymead Blvd.

Louisianna Seafood. A fish fry place. Good selection of fish or shrimp. Located on the Towncenter shopping center on Pidgeon Pass.

Chicago Pasta House. Some folks swear this place is the best Chicago style pizza west of the Mississippi. I've never been east of the Mississippi, so I'd have to honestly say, "This is the best Chicago style pizza I've ever had!"

I knew of a couple of Pho places in the area, but my memory is less reliable there. One near Tyler Mall. Another is off the 215 N, somewhere near Hospitality Row. It's called Ah Dong.

Sorry about the scattered ideas, but this was the best braindump I can do. Hope they're still good!
