I am going to be in Santa Clarita, California next weekend with my mother-in-law. She is from New Hampshire, has never before been to California and will be in town for two days. I am driving down from Berkeley (where I live) to visit with her. If anyone has any suggestions about where to take her, please please respond. I don't want her first California food experience to be Deli Sandwiches from Safeway!
