Message: | Mark, I had dinner with a Korean client at Yong Su San in March (950 S. Vermont #388-3042). The menu was a bit overwhelming for first timers - good thing she ordered. As I don't eat meat she ordered a special menu that was heavy on seafood and vegetables. We ate in a private room, but I did notice a large room that was family oriented and several smaller dining areas. The general menu is broken down in the following ways: "Su" 21.99 per person. "Yong" 27.99 per person "Special" 33.99 per person "Song Hak" 49.99 per person "Kong" 39.99 per person Call and they will fax you the menu. I have to be honest, I am not a big fan of Korean (prefer other Asian cuisines - especially Japanese). I find Korean to be too salty and doesn't have the clean taste I prefer. My husband loves Korean and thought it was great. I would go to this restaurant again - it's great for a group and the food is sophisticated. We had dinner at Restaurant Raku (1106 N. La Cienega Bl. #201 657-4519) last Friday. It's Korean/Japanese - see my comments from last week. Years ago I had dinner at Woo Lee Oak, but can't really comment.
