Message: | Ditto Glenmore's assessment. I haven't been to Jitlada in a couple yrs but I used to go quite often. Food is very high quality but if not Americanized at least very familiar. Prices are high for the area, ambience bordering on the hotel-ish. It's a great place to take someone who wants a good Thai meal -- better for example than Chan Dara -- but wouldn't be comfortable in a place like Sanamaluang (sp??-- I can never pronounce S--g, let alone spell it). At Jitlada a favorite of mine used to be the garlic shrimp -- Thai scampi. Now I'll turn it around... Krung Tedd. Never been... keep passing by. Good, I take it? What to order? |
