Here's some I found or got shown: Go to the food court over at the Yaohan grocery. There are some good udon shops over in that area, too. Drive 15 minutes or so to one of the Indian groceries over in Tustin and have a buffet lunch. If Islamic Garden (Northern Chinese food) is still around go to it. I think it's on Culver. Thai Spice is in the same direction (Jeffery & Barranca?) Goro's on Alton had pretty good Japanese. There are a couple of places by the 99 Ranch supermarket. Hope this helps.
