Subject:     Don Antonios on Pico in WLA?

This past Wednesday evening I stopped by Don Antonios Mexican restaurant on Pico in WLA (between Barrington and Bundy). I had recalled a pleasant meal there years ago. What I found was a joint that was jumping! There was a 40 minute wait for a table. And this was midweek. My party included a 10 year old who did not have the patience, so we went down the street. But I am intrigued at the reason for the crowd. Has anyone eaten at Don Antonios recently? Is this place special or did we just hit it on an unusual night?
