3 Doors Down has opened the entryway to the top of the charts with its hit single, "Kryptonite," and the Mississippi rockers are now halfway through their first major headlining tour, slated to wrap on June 10 in Washington, D.C.
"Kryptonite" is currently number one at rock and active rock radio and is just behind "Adam's Song" from Blink-182 and "Otherside" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the alternative radio charts, according to "R&R.;" Even though "Kryptonite" shows no signs of wearing off on the charts, 3 Doors Down is already lining up the next single from its debut album, "The Better Life," and frontman Brad Arnold indicated that the new single would most likely be for the record's second track, "Loser." On Tuesday, 3 Doors Down will join the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and P.O.D. for a joint show at New York City's Irving Plaza before resuming its tour.
