Message: | Although I don't doubt the chow value of many of these suggestions, I also think a number of us have strayed from being truly helpful by recommending places that are more burger stand than restaurant. I can't in good conscience recommend a burger stand that costs $5.00 in gas to get to. Maybe we should all try to give a better feeling as to the quality of the environment the meal will be served in, if we really want to be helpful. After all, sending someone to a taco stand 10 miles out of the way is not much help when the person thinks they will be dining, albeit cheaply, at a real restaurant. |
