I also LOVE Uncle Al's, especially the catfish and shrimp. He makes a homemade tartar sauce that he claims is fat free but tastes so good, as well as a tasty homemade hot sauce. It's nice to see such a downhome, honest, and reasonable place run by such a friendly guy like Al in a sea of overpriced pretention that you usually find in downtown Long Beach (Pine Avenue in particular). Al for President in 2004!
